Jefferson City Care and Rehab is seeking a Dietary Cook to join our dedicated team in Jefferson City, MO. The role supports resident nutrition by preparing meals per planned menus and maintaining a safe, clean kitchen.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is preferred.
• 1 year of experience is preferred.
• Facility operates 24 hours; shifts vary.
• Maintain communications with employer via email/phone.

Responsibilities

• Review menus to determine meat, vegetable, and soup quantities.
• Submit weekly food orders to the Dietary Supervisor.
• Maintain inventory and report shortages.
• Supervise dietary staff during food preparation.
• Prepare ingredients per approved recipes and measure portions.
• Ensure food safety and infection prevention practices.
• Keep kitchen clean and organized.
• Assist in training new dietary staff.
• Prepare special nourishments as instructed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
