AVIR Health Group is seeking a qualified Dietary Cook to join our family and support our residents with nutritious meals aligned to various diets. Walk-ins are welcome daily as PRN shifts exist, and the role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and adherence to state health regulations.

You will prepare and cook high-quality meals, supervise kitchen staff, and maintain compliance with facility standards while supporting a family-focused culture and quality resident care.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED (required).
• Previous office experience preferred.
• Previous Nursing Home experience preferred.
• Culinary and/or food service experience in a health care facility preferred.

Mansioni

• Utilize a variety of cooking and food preparation equipment and techniques.
• Prepare simple food regimes and basic modified diets regarding individual resident nutritional needs.
• Adjust recipes to yield the required number of servings if necessary.
• Test recipes and recommend changes in recipes.
• Prepare and cook food in batches, maintaining high quality and appeal.
• Directs activities of one or more workers who assist in preparing and serving meals.
