AVIR Health Group seeks a qualified Dietary Cook to prepare and cook high-quality foods for residents, guests, and employees in a facility that adheres to state health regulations. The role emphasizes family-focused care, teamwork, and a culture built by attentive staff.

Walk-ins are welcome daily and the position offers benefits including 401k with match, paid holidays and PTO, health insurance for the family, and daily pay options.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous nursing home experience preferred.
• Culinary/food service experience in health care facility preferred.
• Previous office experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Utilize a variety of cooking and food preparation equipment and techniques.
• Prepare simple food regimes and basic modified diets for individual resident needs.
• Adjust recipes to yield the required number of servings.
• Test recipes and recommend changes to improve taste and nutrition.
• Prepare and cook food in batches, maintaining quality and appeal.
• Directs activities of one or more workers who assist in preparing and serving meals.
