The ideal candidate has training in food preparation, knows safe cooking temperatures, and can read and follow written directions.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of proper cooking methods and temperatures.
• Ability to read, write, and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve food according to planned menus.
• Maintain clean and safe food storage and equipment.
• Review diet changes with nursing services and coordinate dietary services.
• Inspect trays for accuracy of menu and diet preferences.
• Assist in inventorying and storing foods, supplies, and equipment.
