Santa Rosa Behavioral Healthcare Hospital (SRBHH) is seeking a Dietary Aide to assemble meals for patients, staff and visitors, honoring dietary needs and restrictions. The role reports to the Dietary Manager and starts at $23.84 per hour.

Responsibilities include preparing and delivering food, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, labeling items, and supporting patient care in a psychiatric hospital setting. Requires High School diploma and a valid Food Safety Handler Card; shifts include days,

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Healthcare food service experience preferred.
• Must possess a valid Food Safety Handler Card.
• Willing to work day, weekend or evening shifts with 48-hour notice and on-call.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and prepare food and snacks as directed.
• Organize and deliver prepared food to patient areas.
• Maintain kitchen sanitation and proper food handling procedures.
• Label and date foods and follow kitchen procedures.
• Support dietary needs and respectful patient care in a behavioral health setting.
• Uphold the organization’s ethics and customer service standards.
