Santa Rosa Behavioral Healthcare Hospital (SRBHH) in Santa Rosa, CA, is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist in assembling meals for patients, staff and visitors, honoring dietary needs and restrictions. Duties include washing dishes, stocking food and labeling supplies, and delivering meals.

You will work in a psychiatric hospital environment, be able to lift up to 50 pounds, and may rotate day, weekend or evening shifts with 48-hour notice. Starting pay is $23.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent required.
• Prefer food service experience in a treatment center, health care or related setting.
• English proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and prepare food and snacks as directed.
• Organize and deliver prepared food to patient areas.
• Properly process, store, and prepare food on a tight timeline.
• Maintain kitchen sanitation and hygiene.
• Document food labeling and kitchen procedures.
• Serve patients and staff with a courteous demeanor.
• Support professional growth and development.
• Perform related duties as requested.
