Job summary

Barnegat Rehab and Nursing is seeking qualified Dietary Aides for full-time and part-time positions. The facility is a 120-bed skilled nursing center serving geriatric residents with a range of nursing care and rehabilitation services.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma
• 1 year experience in Food Service/Dietary Aide preferred
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities and prioritize

Responsibilities

• Serves meals to residents in dining areas according to portion control procedures
• Performs daily cleaning tasks including cleaning spills, unloading dishwasher, disposing of trash
• Participates in departmental cleaning and recycling program
• Disposes of food and waste per facility/state guidelines
• Wears protective clothing when handling chemicals or infectious waste
• Provides excellent resident service within guidelines
