Qualifications

• Ability to obtain a Food Handler's Card.
• Read, write, speak and understand English.
• Capable of lifting and moving up to 40 pounds.
• Demonstrated compassion and interest in working with the senior population.
• Maintain a clean, neat, comfortable, and safe demeanor.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Support dignity, privacy, independence, choice and a home-like environment for residents.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver food to residents and confirm meal satisfaction.
• Bus tables, change linens, and reset tables after service.
• Ensure condiment and beverage containers are clean and replenished.
• Assist with food preparation as needed and maintain infection control standards.
• Plate food and deliver to tables and residents.
• Wash and sanitize dishes, tables, and chairs.
• Relate and communicate with residents, families, staff, and volunteers.
