Job summary

Westfields Hospital & Clinic is seeking a dependable Dietary Aide to join our Food and Nutrition Services team. You will assist with meal preparation, distribution, sanitation, and customer service throughout the hospital.

This role supports a variety of patient meals and events while maintaining strict safety and cleanliness standards. Required to work 2-3 shifts per week with a total FTE of 1.75 (7 hours/week).

Qualifications

• High School/GED enrollment or completion.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday.

Responsibilities

• Assists with the preparation, assembly, and delivery of patient meals according to dietary guidelines and requirements.
• Maintains a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment by cleaning work areas, dishes, utensils, equipment, and storage spaces per food safety standards.
• Safely uses and monitors chemical and cleaning agents.
• Cross trains for a minimum of two positions in the Dietary Department.
• Prepare tables for catering events according to requests.
• Other duties as assigned.
