Job summary

Covenant Living Communities and Services is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist with meal preparation, delivery, and dining services for residents. You will work under a Dietitian or Chef to ensure proper nutrition and safety standards are followed throughout service periods.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, excellent communication with residents and staff, and adherence to sanitation and health regulations.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate effectively (verbal and written, English) with residents and staff.
• Must be able to read and understand written instructions and follow safety practices.
• Must be cordial and congenial with residents.
• Demonstrates knowledge of and understanding of food safety, sanitation, preparation and serving principles.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation, hospitality duties, and meal service, including serving food under the guidance of the Chef or Dietitian.
• Deliver dishes, trays, and designated times and rooms.
• Assist in setting up and clearing up dining areas with attention to cleanliness and order. Includes dish, tray, trash, leftover removals.
• Follow all sanitation guidelines, federal / state regulations, and Senior Living /Healthcare requirements.
