Job summary

Burlington Health & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dependable Dietary Aide to join our Food Services team. You’ll help prepare, serve, and deliver meals and snacks to residents while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming dining environment.

You’ll work with the Dietitian and Director of Food Services to support high-quality food service and the nutritional needs of our residents, in a supportive healthcare setting that values dignity and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, speak, understand English.
• Reliable with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Interact respectfully with residents, families, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, meal service, and delivery of food trays.
• Prepare and deliver snacks according to residents’ needs and guidelines.
• Serve meals with proper portion-control procedures.
• Ensure meals are attractive, appetizing, and served appropriately.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, equipment, utensils, and food-service spaces.
