Job summary

CommonSail Investment Group is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide to support residents with meal service in our Michigan communities. The role involves preparing and plating meals according to menus, maintaining sanitation, and assisting kitchen staff.

Shifts are 6am–2pm and 4pm–8pm, with standing for long periods and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds. The position emphasizes teamwork, resident dignity, and safe food handling in a caring environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work independently and manage meal service for residents.
• Some food service experience preferred.
• Excellent communication with residents and team.

Responsibilities

• Handle, transport and plate food for residents and guests.
• Plate meals according to planned menus and standard recipes.
• Maintain sanitation and proper food temperatures.
• Support kitchen staff and other duties as assigned.
• Keep daily logs and documentation for meal services.
• Stock and clean stations for the next shift.
