Job summary

Oakmont Manor in Sterling Heights, MI is seeking a Dietary Aide to support meal service and dining room prep under the supervision of the dietary supervisor/head cook. You will set tables, assist with menu items, help with dishwashing and sanitation, and maintain a clean, welcoming dining area.

High school diploma preferred; one year of dietary aide experience is a plus. Adherence to safety policies, reliable attendance, and cooperative teamwork are required to assist residents with disabilities

Qualifications

• Reads, writes, and follows written and oral instructions.
• Basic knowledge of sanitation and safety in food service.
• Able to perform calculations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Light cooking including continental breakfast.
• Set up dining room tables for meals: silverware, napkins, plates, bowls, beverages.
• Replenish condiments and supplies.
• Serve resident meals.
• Assist with menu item preparation as directed by supervisor.
