Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc is seeking a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will follow dietary guidelines, assist with food prep, and contribute to positive dining experiences for residents and staff.

This role emphasizes teamwork, attention to food safety, and excellent customer service. High school diploma preferred; state-specific certification may be required and experience is not mandatory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous food service/kitchen experience preferred but not required.
• Must follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds, push/pull up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
