Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc is seeking a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will follow dietary needs, maintain safety standards, and interact positively with residents and staff to ensure a quality dining experience.

Starting pay is USD 13.00 per hour with on-site work. Eligible benefits include telemedicine, prescription discounts, EAP, and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• ServSafe or Food Handler certification required by state/county law.
• Residency within the service area required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with occupants and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
