Job summary

Woodbury Heights Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to join our long-term living team. You will help prepare and present meals that meet nutritional guidelines and resident preferences, while maintaining clean, safe dining areas.

Qualifications

Sanitation practices in food service are essential.
Experience in cooking or food preparation is preferred but not required.
Strong teamwork in a dietary department.
Excellent resident-focused service.
Able to work variable shifts and weekends.
Healthcare settings experience is a plus.
Must maintain safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and presentation of meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines.
Sanitate work areas, utensils, and equipment to maintain a clean and safe food service environment.
Buss tables and assist with serving meals to residents, ensuring that each individual receives their correct meal.
Support cooks in food production tasks as needed, including chopping vegetables, assembling plates, and portioning food.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages to the supervisor.
Provide excellent customer service by interacting positively with residents during mealtimes.
Follow all safety and health regulations related to food handling and sanitation practices.
