Brookwood Care Community is seeking a Dietary Aide to support meal preparation and service for residents. You will assist in all food functions, prepare and deliver meals, and ensure proper diet compliance and sanitation.

The role emphasizes teamwork, timely service, and respectful interaction with residents and staff. Training will focus on safety, hygiene, and meal preparation standards.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must be a supportive team member and contribute to teamwork.
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when warranted.
• Must deal tactfully with residents, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to all food functions according to policies.
• Prepare and deliver meals and snacks to nurses' station and residents.
• Set up resident meal trays according to diets and menus.
• Deliver and collect trays, return dishes, and restock as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the food service area.
• Accept requests from nursing staff and residents and fulfill them timely.
