El Dorado Care and Rehab in El Dorado, KS is looking to hire a Dietary Aide to join our team. This essential role supports residents by preparing and serving meals according to dietary orders and approved menus, while maintaining safety and cleanliness.

As part of a dynamic and caring team, you will deliver meals, assist with tray setup and retrieval, and help create a warm, respectful environment for our residents and their families. No experience required; willingness to learn is valued.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform basic arithmetic, understand measurements and follow written and oral instructions.
• No experience required; willingness to learn.
• Solid communication skills, attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to anticipate resident needs.
• Ability to read, write and speak English to interact with residents and team members.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals to residents according to dietary orders and menus.
• Set up trays and deliver meals, and assist with special requests.
• Maintain safety and sanitary conditions in the dining and kitchen areas.
• Deliver and retrieve trays; wash dishes and assist with clean-up.
