Job summary

Northern Lights is hiring a Dietary Aide to support meal service in our senior living community. You’ll assist with meal prep, serve meals, and help create a warm, respectful dining experience for residents.

Ideal candidates have a customer service mindset, good communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced kitchen and dining area. Training is provided; prior food service or healthcare experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or healthcare preferred but not required—we’ll train the right person!
• Ability to follow instructions, multitask, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assist in meal preparation and serving according to dietary guidelines.
• Keep dining areas and kitchen spaces clean and safe.
• Collaborate with cooks and care staff to meet resident needs.
• Provide friendly, respectful support to residents during meals.
