Job summary

Carefree Living in Aurora, MN is seeking a compassionate Part-Time Dietary Aide to join our Assisted Living team. You will assist with meals, dining room setup, and maintaining a clean dining environment for residents.

We offer flexible schedules, paid training, and opportunities for professional growth. Prior dietary or healthcare experience is preferred, but not required, and teamwork is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Follow infection control procedures and proper hand-washing techniques.
• Excellent communication with internal and external contacts.
• Ability to perform the physical demands of the position.
• Previous dietary, food service, or healthcare experience preferred, but not required.
• Must be dependable, team-oriented, and resident-focused.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals to residents while providing excellent customer service.
• Assist with meal preparation, dining room setup, and beverage service.
• Clean kitchen and dining areas following meals.
• Wash dishes, empty trash, and maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen and dining spaces.
• Support a safe, clean, and welcoming dining experience for residents.
• Follow food safety and infection control procedures at all times.
• Complete additional duties as assigned.
