Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Healthcare/long-term care food service experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry up to 25 pounds.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Background check required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal prep and food service per facility standards.
• Prepare dining rooms and resident meal trays.
• Deliver meals and beverages to residents promptly.
• Assist residents during meal service as needed.
• Follow sanitation, safety, and infection control procedures.
• Wash dishes and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain clean and sanitary food prep and dining areas.
• Cooperate with dietary, nursing, and other staff.
• Follow all dietary regulations.
