Job summary

Saratoga View Senior Living in Saratoga Springs, UT is seeking a dependable Dietary Aide / Server to assist our Food and Nutrition Services team. You’ll help prepare dining areas, serve meals, and ensure a welcoming mealtime experience for residents.

You will set up meal trays, deliver meals, clean work areas, follow food safety procedures, and treat residents with dignity and respect while supporting a calm, efficient dining environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Current Food Handler Permit or ability to obtain one.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic.
• Positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Friendly, respectful, and patient when working with residents, families, and coworkers.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment with frequent interruptions.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals according to established portion sizes and dietary requirements.
• Set up meal trays, food carts, dining areas, and serving areas.
• Deliver meals and food carts to designated areas.
• Collect meal trays and return them to the kitchen.
• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and food service equipment.
• Clean and maintain kitchen, dining, and food preparation areas.
• Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked food storage areas.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, infection control, and workplace safety procedures.
• Treat residents, families, visitors, and coworkers with dignity and respect.
• Maintain confidentiality and protect resident privacy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
