Citadel of Northbrook is seeking a Dietary Aide to join our team. You will assist in serving residents’ meals and supporting daily cleaning routines in the dietary department.

We value reliable, team-focused staff who can read, write, and understand English, maintain sanitation standards, and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in long-term care or industrial food service is a plus, with comprehensive benefits provided by Citadel Healthcare.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must be able to keep up in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to follow sanitation process and maintain cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities

• Serves meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance on a timely basis.
• Serves food in accordance with established portion control procedures.
• Assists in daily or scheduled cleaning duties, in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Sweeps and mops floors as directed.
• Washes and cleans utensils as directed.
• Sets up meal trays, food carts, dining room, etc., as instructed.
• All other duties as assigned.
