Elevate Care in Des Plaines, IL is seeking a compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team. You’ll help prepare and serve nutritious meals tailored to residents’ dietary needs, maintain clean dining and kitchen areas, and support the dietary team with portioning and timely meal service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in dietary or food service preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Able to lift and carry supplies as needed.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Meal Service – Help prepare and serve nutritious meals to residents based on their dietary needs.
• Maintain Cleanliness & Organization – Ensure kitchen and dining areas are clean and sanitized at all times.
• Support Dietary Team – Assist in food preparation, portioning, and delivery to ensure timely meal service.
• Assist with Special Diets – Provide support for residents with special dietary needs and preferences, such as low-sodium, low-sugar, or vegetarian diets.
• Stock & Maintain Supplies – Assist with inventory management and ensure kitchen supplies are replenished as needed.
• Work Closely with Residents – Offer friendly service and ensure resident satisfaction with meals.
