Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will assist with food preparation, follow dietary needs and portion sizes, and maintain clean, safe kitchen areas.

This role emphasizes teamwork, positive resident interactions, and adherence to sanitation standards. Starting pay is $19.00 per hour, with benefits including telemedicine, wellness programs, training, and career development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service or kitchen preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
• COVID-19 vaccination compliance.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 30 pounds and push/pull up to 50 pounds; stand or walk for extended periods.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification as required by state law.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
