Job summary

Meadowbrook Respiratory and Nursing Center is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide to support meal preparation and service for Residents and staff in a health care facility. The role emphasizes maintaining sanitary conditions and assisting in all dietary functions as directed by policies and procedures.

The Dietary Aide will help prepare meals, assist with tray assembly, and ensure meals are delivered in a timely manner, while complying with safety and sanitation standards within a 24/7 operation

Qualifications

• Assist in the preparation of meals and beverages.
• Prepare food trays according to diet cards and scheduled meal times.
• Maintain a clean, safe and sanitary dietary area in accordance with policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of meals and beverages.
• Participate in the tray line and assemble trays per diet cards.
• Assist with loading food carts and serving meals to Residents and staff.
• Bag and store food items as directed.
• Ensure dishes and utensils are clean and stored properly.
• Help with dish washing and equipment operation as needed.
• Maintain clean work areas and report hazards to supervisor.
