Job summary

Dialysis Clinic, Inc. is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support our clinical team in providing top-quality care for patients with end-stage renal disease.

The role involves assisting with dialysis treatment, patient education, and routine nursing support under RN supervision. The position offers full-time shifts, a 10-hour schedule, Sundays off, and a comprehensive benefits package designed to support employees and their families.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills are required to interact with patients, families and care teams.
• Desire to collaborate with care teams and provide patient-centered care.
• Ability to problem solve and adapt in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in infection control, risk management and patient education activities.
• Guide new patients through education plans.
• Obtain and record patient vital signs and machine readings during treatment.
• Assist under RN supervision during dialysis treatment.
• Set up and break down dialysis blood system for treatment.
• Insert and remove patient access needles.
• Monitor patients during dialysis and document changes.
