Ochsner Health is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound in outpatient and inpatient settings under radiologist supervision. You will compile patient history and present preliminary findings to the Radiologist.

Requires ARDMS credentials (Abd/OB-Gyn or Cardiac) and BLS; RVT certification within two years is expected. Proficiency in data entry and Windows applications is essential. This role supports a compassionate, inclusive team delivering exceptional care.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• ARDMS certification in abdominal and OB-Gyn ultrasound or cardiac sonography.
• BLS from the American Heart Association.
• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) within two years of hire.

Mansioni

• Gather relevant information from patient, medical record, and providers using consistent techniques.
• Select equipment and setup based on procedure protocol and standards.
• Prepare and set up ultrasound equipment and transducers.
• Ensure equipment calibration in line with manufacturer and department protocol.
