Job summary

TURN Community Services in Ogden, UT is seeking a part- and full-time Day Program/Supported Living Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role offers a competitive wage of $16.50/hour and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will support clients in day programs and residential living as needed, building meaningful relationships and promoting independence in daily activities.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Valid driver’s license; clean driving record.
• Reliable personal vehicle for transporting individuals in the community.
• Heart for serving people with developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Support people with developmental disabilities to live their best lives in daily living.
• Assist with self-care, hygiene, motor skills, arts & crafts, vocational skills, work habits and community inclusion.
• Assist with behavior management and recreational activities.
• Model appropriate social skills and maintain documentation; report health or safety concerns promptly.
