TURN Community Services in Ogden, UT is hiring a Day Program/Supported Living Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the Ogden area. This compassionate role offers meaningful work with a well-respected human services organization.

The position is part- and full-time, pays $16.50 per hour, includes benefits and a $600 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Reliable personal vehicle for transporting individuals.
• A heart for serving people with developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Support people with developmental disabilities to live independently.
• Assist with self-care, hygiene, motor skills, arts and crafts, vocational skills, work habits, and community inclusion.
• Assist with behavior management and recreational activities.
• Model appropriate social skills and behaviors; maintain documentation and report health or safety concerns.
• Work at day program locations and assist in residential living as needed.
