The ideal candidate holds ARRT (R) and CT certification with state licensure (if applicable) and offers at least one year of CT experience or strong clinical training. Excellent communication and scheduling flexibility are essential for success.

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) and CT certification required.
• State licensure (if applicable).
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of CT experience preferred; new graduates with strong clinical training may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans following physician orders and departmental protocols.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Operate and maintain CT equipment, troubleshooting minor technical issues as needed.
• Administer contrast agents under appropriate supervision and monitor patient response.
• Verify patient identification and maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and infection control guidelines.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal image quality.
• Provide clear instructions and compassionate care to patients throughout the procedure.
• Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
