Job summary

Capitol Imaging Services (Houston MRI – Katy) seeks a dedicated PRN LMRT to join our imaging team. The LMRT will perform radiographic procedures under supervision, ensuring patient safety and comfort while complying with regulations.

Responsibilities include preparing patients, operating radiologic equipment, maintaining records, assisting with patient flow, and keeping rooms clean. Strong communication and teamwork are essential; prior clinical imaging experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current LMRT license in the state
• CPR certification (BLS preferred)
• Strong understanding of radiographic positioning and safety protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Prior experience in a clinical or imaging setting preferred

Job Summary:Capitol Imaging Services (Houston MRI – Katy) is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented PRN Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist (LMRT) to join our imaging team. The LMRT will be responsible for performing high-quality radiographic procedures under the supervision of a licensed practitioner, ensuring patient safety and comfort while maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations. This LMRT will also be assisting as a Technologist Assistant when needed.Key Responsibilities:Perform limited radiographic exams as authorized by state licensure.Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining the process and ensuring comfort.Operate radiologic equipment safely and effectively.Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards.Assist with patient flow and administrative tasks as needed.Maintain cleanliness and readiness of imaging rooms and equipment.Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.Qualifications:Current LMRT license in the state of [Insert State].CPR certification (BLS preferred).Strong understanding of radiographic positioning and safety protocols.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Prior experience in a clinical or imaging setting preferred.RequirementsRequirements:Knowledge of safety requirements to provide instructions and to recognize and correct hazardous conditions.Knowledge of medical equipment and instruments to administer patient care.Maintains communication and cooperation with radiologists and other ancillary departments regarding changes in protocol, scheduling of procedures, exams performed and patient flow.Ability to communicate clearly with patients, colleagues and referring offices.Skilled in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, and the public.Preferred Experience:Prefer a minimum of 1 year experience.Multi-modality is a plus.
