Job summary

Mercy Health in Warren, OH is seeking a CT Technologist (Harmonized) to perform diagnostic CT scans and provide direct patient care with compassion and timeliness. You will operate CT equipment, position patients, and assist radiologists with procedures.

Qualifications

• 1 year of CT or Rad Tech experience preferred.
• BLS Basic Life Support preferred at hire; must obtain prior to direct patient care.
• ARRT Diagnostic Radiology certification/registration required.
• Advanced modality CT registration preferred or must obtain within 1 year.
• State licensure preferred where the work is performed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure image quality and verify patient data.
• Perform CT procedures and manage patient positioning.
• Conduct required timeouts per policy.
• Position and immobilize patients for CT scanning.
• Manage radiation exposures per physician request.
• Administer contrast agents and manage IVs as needed.
• Assist radiologist with biopsies or drainage procedures.
• Maintain CT IT systems knowledge (Radiant, PACS).
• Participate in on-call rotation as required.
