Cambridge Healthcare Services, LLC in Duarte, CA seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support the Occupational Therapist by implementing individualized treatment plans and facilitating therapeutic activities for residents in a skilled nursing setting.

You will monitor progress, educate residents and families, maintain a safe therapy environment, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current state licensure or certification as a COTA.
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare setting preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.

Responsabilités

• Assist the Occupational Therapist in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for residents.
• Administer therapeutic activities and exercises as prescribed by the Occupational Therapist.
• Monitor and document residents' progress and report changes to the Occupational Therapist.
• Educate residents and families on home exercise programs and adaptive techniques.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe therapy environment.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and facility policies.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care to residents.
