Job summary

The Cambridge Healthcare Services, LLC is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support the Occupational Therapist in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for residents.

You will administer therapeutic activities, monitor progress, and educate residents and families on home programs, while maintaining a safe, compliant therapy environment and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Requires an associate degree from an accredited OTA program.
• Current state licensure or COTA certification is required.
• Healthcare setting experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar setting is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Occupational Therapist in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for residents.
• Administer therapeutic activities and exercises as prescribed by the Occupational Therapist.
• Monitor and document residents' progress and report changes or concerns to the Occupational Therapist.
• Educate residents and their families on home exercise programs and adaptive techniques.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe therapy environment.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and facility policies.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care to residents.
