Job summary

Wurtland Nursing and Rehabilitation in Kentucky is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our team on a PRN basis. Under the supervision of a licensed OT, you will implement individualized treatment plans to improve residents’ ADLs, mobility, and independence in daily living.

This role requires collaboration with an interdisciplinary care team, careful documentation, and HIPAA/safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from an accredited OTA program.
• Current state licensure as a COTA (OT)

Responsibilities

• Deliver occupational therapy interventions per the treatment plan under supervision.
• Assist residents with ADLs and mobility to improve independence.
• Monitor resident responses and report progress to the supervising OT.
• Provide instruction on adaptive equipment and safety for residents and caregivers.
• Maintain compliant documentation per policies and regulations (HIPAA/OSHA).
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team to coordinate care.
