Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to help patients regain strength in an in-facility setting, reporting to the Director of Rehab. You will implement therapy programs, follow recovery plans, and deliver treatments with a focus on patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards.
• Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• They must be licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you help patients get well by implementing occupational therapy programs and activities.
• Follow developed recovery plans and deliver therapy treatments to restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities and independence.
• Collaborate with the rehab team to ensure patient-centered, compassionate care and clear communication with patients and families.

Education

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program

Initial certification from NBCOT

Licensed and/or eligible for licensure in state
