Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a dependable Cook to prepare and cook nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will follow menus, ensure food quality, taste, and presentation, and uphold food safety standards.

The role includes friendly interactions with residents, staff, and guests, plus assisting with inventory and ordering as needed. Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and prior cook or food prep experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous cook/food prep experience preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification may be required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; maintain a clean kitchen.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
