Job summary

The Meadows of Delphos in Delphos, OH is seeking a dedicated Cook to prepare and serve high-quality meals that support the health and well-being of residents. You will ensure all food is prepared safely and per established sanitation standards while delivering a positive dining experience to residents and families.

You will assist with inventory, stocking, and standard pantry items, while supervising dietary staff when the Food Service Manager is unavailable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED/HSE preferred.
• Minimum of 1–2 years similar cooking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare scratch-made meals for residents according to recipes and dietary guidelines.
• Assist the Food Service Manager with inventory control and ordering supplies.
• Properly store food and kitchen supplies to maintain freshness and prevent waste.
• Supervise and support Dietary staff when the Manager is unavailable.
• Set up breakfast bars, steam tables, and other meal service stations.
• Maintain cleanliness in work areas and complete kitchen cleaning tasks.
• Prepare and stock snacks for resident areas.
