Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Culinary certification or relevant vocational training is a plus.
• Experience as a cook, preferably in healthcare/assisted living.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to menus, recipes, and dietary guidelines.
• Plan weekly menus to meet dietary needs and preferences.
• Maintain food safety and sanitation; keep kitchen clean and organized.
• Interact with residents in a friendly, respectful manner and accommodate dietary concerns.
• Monitor inventory and order supplies; ensure freshness and proper shelf life.
• Maintain kitchen equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth meal service.
