Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. (HCSG) is seeking a Cook to prepare and cook nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will help ensure quality, presentation, and safety in a fast-paced kitchen.

The role emphasizes following recipes, dietary restrictions, and working with residents and staff while supporting sanitation and inventory tasks. On-the-job training and a comprehensive benefits package are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in food preparation preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; maintain a clean kitchen.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
