Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Cook to prepare and cook nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will follow recipes, ensure dish quality and presentation, and maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen.

Responsibilities include inventory support and positive interactions with residents and staff. Compliance with vaccination policies and ability to lift up to 50 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous cook/food prep experience preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with occupants, administration, and leadership.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Must lift/carry up to 50 lbs, stand, and perform tasks for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals per planned menus/recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; keep kitchen clean.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering.
