Job summary

Kadima Healthcare in New Wilmington is seeking a compassionate Cook to prepare meals in line with federal, state, and local guidelines. You will work under the Dietary Manager to ensure quality food service and supervise staff when the manager is unavailable.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, with certification in food services a plus. We offer a sign-on bonus and a range of benefits including medical, dental, vision, PTO, and a 401K.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals according to planned menus and authorized substitutions
• Serve meals palatable and appetizing in appearance
• Follow established portion control procedures
• Prepare food for therapeutic diets as needed
• Assist with tray line duties and service
• Prepare meals using standardized recipes and diet orders
• Inspect trays to ensure correct diet is served
• Provide nutritional bedtime snacks to residents
• Ensure appropriate equipment and utensils are available for residents
