Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous cooking or food service experience preferred.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Reliable, dependable, and committed to providing quality service to our residents.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to established menus and dietary requirements.
• Assist with meal preparation, portioning, and serving as needed.
• Oversee and assist Dietary Aides with daily kitchen and dining responsibilities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen and food preparation area.
• Follow all applicable state and federal food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and dietary standards.
• Help ensure residents receive meals that are prepared safely, accurately, and with care.
