Cottonwood Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center – Durango, CO is seeking a Cook to join our dining team. You will prepare and serve meals that meet resident dietary needs and quality standards in a supportive, community-focused environment.

• Previous cooking or food service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to established menus and dietary requirements.
• Assist with meal preparation, portioning, and serving as needed.
• Oversee and assist Dietary Aides with daily kitchen and dining responsibilities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen and food preparation area.
• Follow all applicable state and federal food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and dietary standards.
• Help ensure residents receive meals that are prepared safely, accurately, and with care.
