Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Cook to prepare and cook nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will contribute to meals that meet dietary needs and presentation standards, while delivering friendly service to residents and staff.

Join our team to support quality dining experiences, maintain clean kitchens, follow safety practices, and participate in inventory and ordering processes as needed. Prior cooking experience and a ServSafe certification are valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as a cook or in food preparation preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Must lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area is required.
• COVID-19 vaccination policies compliance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; keep kitchen clean.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff and guests, delivering excellent service.
• All other duties as assigned.
