Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. seeks a Cook to prepare nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care facility, ensuring quality, taste, and presentation, while maintaining sanitation and a positive dining experience.

You will follow planned menus, assist with inventory, and interact positively with residents and staff. Required are a High school diploma and ServSafe or Food Handler certification per state law, with residency in the service area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous cook/food preparation experience preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand and walk for extended periods.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification required by State/County law.
• Residency within the service area required.
• COVID-19 vaccination policy compliance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; maintain a clean kitchen.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, delivering excellent service.
• All other duties as assigned.
