Masonic Villages of Pennsylvania is seeking a Cook to provide top-quality dining services for residents at our Whitemarsh Township campus. This full-time, daytime position focuses on safe, healthy, and enjoyable meals, supported by ongoing training to uphold our Mission of Love.

You will contribute to a clean environment, follow dietary policies, and help manage production and temperatures while ensuring nutritional and taste standards are met.

Qualifications

• Two years of related experience required.
• Associates degree or certificate in culinary arts preferred.
• Ability to read, understand and follow standardized recipes and dietary requirements.
• Experience preparing a wide variety of foods (soups, sauces, gravies) preferred.
• Good written, oral, organizational, and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides an enjoyable dining experience for residents while maintaining a clean, healthy, and safe environment.
• Uses chemicals and equipment safely and in compliance with food safety regulations.
• Prepares and supervises food items to high quality standards; corrects any irregularities in flavor or temperature.
• Maintains equipment cleanliness and reports maintenance needs.
• Produces forecasted amounts using Production Worksheets and documents leftovers for inventory control.
• Supervises Food Services staff in the absence of Dietary Management.
