Job summary

ComForCare is seeking Certified Home Health Aides (CHHAs) to support clients in Gloucester County, including Glassboro and surrounding areas. Roles focus on non-medical companionship and daily living tasks.

The team provides flexible schedules, ongoing training, and supportive management. Immediate cases available, with opportunities for advancement as you prove reliability and empathy.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
• A caring, patient, and mature demeanor with a passion for helping others.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide engaging companionship, conversation, and emotional support.
• Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a tidy home environment.
• Plan and prepare nutritious meals and snacks, adhering to dietary restrictions.
• Assist with running errands and grocery shopping.
• Provide transportation for appointments and social outings.
• Offer medication reminders (not administration).
• Engage clients in stimulating activities such as hobbies, reading, puzzles, and walks.
• Observe and report any changes in the client's physical, mental, or emotional condition to the Agency Manager.
