ComForCare is seeking reliable Certified Home Health Aides (CHHAs) to serve Atlantic County, including Atlantic City, Somers Point, Ventnor City, Pleasantville and Brigantine. Immediate cases available in various shifts.

Role centers on non-medical companionship and light home support, with emphasis on communication, empathy, and reliability. Training and advancement opportunities are available through the agency.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and able to pass a background check.
• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide engaging companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and meals.
• Assist with errands and transportation to appointments.
• Offer medication reminders (not administration).
• Observe changes and report to the Agency Manager.

Key Responsibilities (Non-Medical/Companionship Only)

• Provide engaging companionship, conversation, and emotional support.
• Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a tidy home environment.
• Plan and prepare nutritious meals and snacks, adhering to dietary restrictions.
• Assist with running errands and grocery shopping.
• Provide transportation for appointments and social outings.
• Offer medication reminders (not administration).
• Engage clients in stimulating activities such as hobbies, reading, puzzles, and walks.
• Observe and report any changes in the client's physical, mental, or emotional condition to the Agency Manager.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
• A caring, patient, and mature demeanor with a passion for helping others.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
